recently I was going to get dread locks. A lot of white people have "the dreads here." In fact, I strongly feel in Western Michigan, its a white thing.
I am in a bubble. I forget about the rest of the world.....
I researched it and asked around. The resounding answer was NO.
--It takes away from African American culture
--It would be to some extent, exercising my "white privilege"
--And I am not in the business of knowingly being the ignorant white American girl.
